We have a part-time Human Resource Assistant vacancy if you would like to join the Health Intelligence team based in Sandbach, Cheshire. You will be required to assist the HR Manager to ensure that a comprehensive HR service is delivered to the business.
HR Assistant
The broad areas include: employee matters, benefits, reward, continued professional development, communications and performance management, recruitment, pensions.
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-2pm
The post involves:
- Employee Relations and Engagement
- Employee Administration (keeping records up to date)

- Compliance with Employment Law and other Regulatory rules and standards
- Arranging and attending Meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for HR queries
- Keeping records and reporting on all areas of staff matters
- Monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
- Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
- Manage staff relationships and promptly respond to queries and manage expectations
- Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
- Grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
- Support and develop recruitment campaigns
- Help to drive organisational performance by adhering to core business objectives
- Work with line managers on performance management and employee relations
Skills Required/Desired:
- Excellent administrative skills
- HR experience within an HR environment
- Key experience of working with and advising line managers
- IT and communication skills
- Team orientated
- Results focused
- CIPD qualified or working towards
